I so love Queensland

Sadly our last whole day in sunny Queensland before we fly south to NSW. Another great day, today in the Mission Beach area. Highlights were seeing cassowary s in the wild- we saw two and as there are only about 1000 left in the wild this was amazing. Went for a rainforest walk and saw an amazing carpet snakes as well as some not so amazing spiders. Then went to Bingil bay where this photo was taken of Bek holding up a palm tree which was about to collapse. Back to hotel for free wifi :)
