"In The Late Afternoon"...

...We went down to the river nearby...and it has been a very warm day (it's still Winter time!) .. possibly our warmest day since the beginning of Autumn..around 26 deg. C, and people were in an abundance running along the riverside pathways, or basking on lawns, in very little, with the curious pelicans for company..

...The town is busy with tourists enjoying the sunshine and almost dependable good weather for this time of the year as we noticed that with the traffic along the pathways in the bushland...

...In fact yesterday we had a barbecue down along the river, and we were certainly not alone there either as the local Music buffs came to have their practise right alongside of us..so we discovered, and it was rather nice actually - although we thought we might have been in for some chamber music, but it was ukelele and guitar and piano accordian with lots of gentle singing..

...We didn't join in though..they just commented on the lovely smell emitting from the bbq there..and carried on with what they set out to do..

...And so - late this afternoon - down to the river again - as John thought it'd be a good idea to check out a good fishing spot along there..and here is John doing just that..
