Night Light

Endless confusion today.
The Bossess left at 6.30 am to go to Christchurch for the day (in an aeroplane).

The Boss attacked the stairs with a chisel and hammer for 4 hours to remove the non skid insert which would have put a bump in the carpet when The Layer man comes back.

The Boss then proceeded to mow the lawn.

Then a delivery van arrived and the entry foyer filled up with large heavy boxes of office furniture (some assembly required) (designed in N.Z and made in somewhere else), to complete the Bossess office upgrade from Office 8.0.0 to Office 13.8.0 which features nice new stuff that matches her newest rather than the stuff she brought from Christchurch before I was even a wag in some dogs tail.
THEN My Friend Peter arrived after a panic pleading call from The Boss to help shift and help with the some assembly required bit.

This was my best moment as I did a hi power meet and greet. After all nothing much dog wise had happened so far.
There followed much banging and other loud noises as they assembled it and My Friend Peter got a lesson on some assembly required furniture which he had never encountered in his illustrious building career.
They had just finished and The Boss was getting my favourite NOT appliance out (The Vac) as The Bossess texted that she was on her way back. I am not allowed to comment on what was served for the evening meal but not much cooking was involved.
Oh and in the middle of the vac bit The Boss noticed what was happening with the sky outside so raced out with his camera.
Oh…AND tomoro it is supposed to sno (Temp hit 15 today) so the layer man may arrive or not arrive depending on something or other.
