ARDENHAM HOUSE, AYLESBURY

This is Ardenham House Aylesbury. One of those old treasures tucked away behind modern buildings & you would have to know it was there to know it was there ! The picture shows just part of it. It was built in approx. 1790 for the the sister-in-law of the famous Britsh sculptor Joseph Nollekens.

Am on my way to Daph's to retackle the wall stain, depending on what I find I may have to strip the old wallpaper off & replace....fortunately there is some in a cupboard.

It is a glorious slightly fresh sunny morning & a day to enjoy.
