You can stuff your canoe. I'm walking!

Managed a good bit of R&R today. Friends who have a holiday caravan down at the lake offered us the use of their canoes. Who can resist an offer like that? First up was the Canadian canoe. With camera and keys safely packed away in a waterproof bag we set off for the other side of the lake. Halfway across we stopped to take this shot. No I'm not going to tell you how it was done except to say that there is no Photoshop involved: it's a genuine photograph. Yes, Linda can walk on water :-) Later we went out again on the kayaks and missed an absolutely incredible photo. Just off shore, a military transport plane swooped down on the lake and flew directly over our heads at about 200ft. We could feel the draft from it. What an amazing thing! Where was the camera? Inside the waterproof bag!
