Little and Large

22.9C with long sunny spells and blue sky.

Apothecary7's day off. We went to M&S at City Quay in Dundee. A cafe visit and then some grocery shopping. On the way home we went to the garden centre for strong weedkiller. We have lots of weeds that require lots of killing.

We took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk before lunch. We had a wander down to the High Street and went along there and back along the seafront before coming back up to the main road to rejoin our usual route for the last part. The rusty twosome above were spotted on a large gate along the way.

Later there was weed killing. Maeve was kept indoors.

Where the afternoon has gone is a mystery.
I must go and water the greenhouse plants ...

... and in the greenhouse there was a small harvest of Courgettes (none on the outdoor plants at the moment).

I took Maeve for a short walk before starting to cook dinner. Up near the church I saw some ripe Brambles in the hedge. Delicious !
