No. 5, Rue Lafayette
Today we visited Quillan to book an appointment with the vet, it's quite a long way to go just to book an appointment but we had tried to telephone endless times from the UK and here but had got an answer phone message on every call. We successfully booked an appointment and got the new phone number of the vet, then set off for another trip to Esperaza. We had hoped to see the night market, we got there too early. I had crippling stomach cramps; I was in a state of mind and clarity of thought that only a duvet, marshmallows and chocolate could sort out so we went home. We did have a walk around Esperaza village though and it's a lot bigger than it looks. We found this very strangely decorated house, with what appeared to be the ancient history of the area decorated to the front of the house.
It was an amazing night for star gazing, it was so dark that the Milky Way was clearly visible. There were so many stars in the sky that it took your breath away. The nights have been quite light due to the moon being quite full, but last night the moon was below the horizon when we took Daisy out for her night time weewee.
