Cheese press

A misty start to the day in Tobermory with some blood letting from J and physio for me. We had breakfast in 'town' and then a wander along to the cheese farm on the Glengorm road to buy presents for our travel south later in the week.

As well as a cheese or two we bought bacon - it is excellent, the fat oozes out when you cook it - and some eggs, all made or reared on the farm. And then had lively chat about pigs (and their trotters) pork pies and throwing pots. The cheese press is in the farm shop, it was made in Somerset about 1870 and if you can see the casting along the top there is a frieze of cows, calves and milkmaids.

I wanted to enhance the outline of the press against the window and played around on PS touch, and yes that is a vine growing behind it.
