Killearn Village Hall

Back in January I blipped a very wet view of the construction of the extension to Killearn Village Hall. This is the newly-finished end result!

There is now a café with a balcony offering the most beautiful views over to Loch Lomond, and although I haven't been in yet, I get the impression it is being well patronised.

I first started playing badminton in this hall back in the late 70s and went on to train as an instructor, coaching local school children for about 15 years, but I haven't actually played badminton for 10 years.

However, starting in the autumn, provided my creaky joints allow, I shall be back playing in this hall once a week.
