Heavy hearts

The Mollers should have been sustained by a wedding breakfast today instead of a heart cake in the community kitchen.

My sister was due to marry the love of her life today, and I was hoping today would be OK, that it would be just like any other day since we lost her - miserable but somehow bearable.

But it really hasn't been all right at all.

The cake, on the other hand, was so good that there and then, I almost hung up my baking hat for good.
