Butterfly bonanza!!!! (backblip)

We had a lovely day out at Fineshade Wood. It is really beautiful there. We followed the 3mile walk ..... which was supposed to have only gentle inclines ....... I think they were being a tad economic with that description!!!

There were butterflies everywhere around ....... I have had a real dilemma trying to choose which shot to blip ....... so here you have a montage.

Top left: (large) Silver-washed Fritillary (first time I've ever seen one)

Top right: (large) Brimstone

Bottom left: Male & female Common Blue

Bottom right: Small Skipper
