Cherubs
Had to get out to the bank today. it is located close to the former Corn Exchange building in Baltic Street. Apparently it was built in 1860-62 at a cost of £7000. Even today it supports a bas-relief of cherubs drinking, loading ships or in this case harvesting.
The building is now home to a creative business centre but right next door is a scrap metal yard. Different to my blip of some months ago . And this one is surrounded by 17th century walls. Old and new mixing together.
