Carrying the Olympic Torch
A real pleasure to meet Sarah Winckless today. She won a bronze medal for rowing in the Athens Olympic Games in 2004, and World Championship medals in 2005 and 2006.
Sarah kindly allowed me to hold her torch for a few minutes. It was much heavier than I expected, and of course that is without the gas canister. It made my day, and meeting her has inspired me to keep going, even through the tough times.
Rather special, as it celebrates my 1,600 entry on Blipfoto.
