Presents

I got lots of them for my birthday.
It was overwhelming!
Two things made me very happy.
My friends son got a job.
My friends daughter got distinction in her exam.

I also got this and it made me very chuffed.
You pour meths in and boil it up and then add paraffin in a little chamber. Then you pump air in and turn the knob. The result is a roaring flame.

My friends demonstrated it for me at Loch Ness on Sunday and I have a lovely photograph with the Loch in the background and the stove boiling the little blue kettle in the foreground
But
Tonight it is not lit as it is in my living room.
Thank you to my friends.
I think it will fit in the Harris Tweed bag nicely.
