PYO dirt

Here's the boys digging in the dirt while we waiting for the fork to attempt to dig some carrots. The ground is baked though, it was hard work getting any unbroken!

We'd left Bean at Stuart and Hayley's last night and planned to meet him at the farm this afternoon. Typically though I forgot to pack drinks or sunhats and when we finally caught up with them Bean was exhausted and hot and thirsty. We didn't spend too much longer there, just enough to get some beans and carrots to add to the sweetcorn before admitting defeat and heading to the cafe for a drink.

Home to eat freshly hunted sweetcorn :)
