More rhubarb

Alexander slept in this morning for the first time since I can remember.
Since Ferguson never sleeps in [preventing me for doing so] we were up & about relatively early.
I had rhubarb left over from yesterday's creation so whilst F was out playing with a newly-hair-cut Daniel, I commenced with more chopping for a cake.
By the afternoon I was getting a big stir crazy being in the house, so suggested we go out for a drive to Holmfirth.
It was pleasant enough, we shared some nice chips & I bought Alex a slice of apple crumble cake.
It seemed a slightly strange day but I can't fully put my finger on my reason for thinking so.
The sun was shining at least.
