The Locals Are Revolting

I live out in the country. Looks like that is all going to change if the County Commissioners get their way. Or not, if the locals have anything to do with it.

This came in the mail today. If nothing else it shows a few snapshots of where I live.

The trailer with "It's about time" on it was repeatedly paintballed, and then removed after it was spray painted with the F word.

The "No money for roads" picture is the railway bridge just down the road from my vets. They built a warehouse near there and now oversized trucks regularly get stuck under it because they are driven by imbeciles who don't understand that the dangly barriers, flashing lights and signs that say "low bridge" really mean that it's a low bridge.

Overcrowded schools? Yup that's the "superpod" of 12 portable classrooms that they have outside a recently built elementary school just down the road from us.

Let's see how successful the letter writing campaign ends up being.
