Rowan recipe?

Is it just me or are Rowan trees just bursting with berries this year?

I've done a little research, however, and other than rowan jelly which has limited appeal, I'm not sure that there much else to be done with them. The Danes are into Rowan liqueur, but I suspect it's a bit werse for my liking... Unless anyone can tell me different?
