Poor old Clova

She's not old, but she's had to have an emergency op for Pyrometra. An infected uterus.

Our old, late, lab, Freddie, had the same thing when she was 10, and had a real new lease of life. Clova is only 6, but thinking about it, she's been quite subdued for a time, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

More than anything, I'm just lad she got through it. I had a traumatic drive to work this morning after I dropped her off and had to sign all the papers. It is a year today since my husband's funeral and if was all just a bit too hard. But she's got the most dangerous bit behind her.
