Beauty In Chaos

Sometimes Nature exhibits loveliness in symmetry or balance. But in this flower stalk of the Mexican Redbird of Paradise I found a very appealing prettiness. The grace and elegance of this flowering plant going through its life-cycle fascinates me. From empty stalks that once held beautiful flowers to the undeveloped buds at the very top. The gorgeously upturned flower stamens to their withered predecessors. Beauty personified!
