Black Kites (I think)

Please correct me if I am wrong with the identification of these birds.
When we got up this morning, I had a walk around the old hotel and took some pictures.
As we were packing up, I could hear this sort of whistling noise. Then I spotted one of the birds on the top of the pole, and shortly afterwards, the one sitting on the line, came along too.
On the way to K's place we saw a Emu with 4 chicks on the road, and later a group of about 6 in the same paddock of soy seed that we saw about 2 weeks ago.
A lot hotter here than when we left.
