Rose hips

Panic over!
Hospital phoned first thing and by 11am an OCT scan revealed that I don't have a detached retina. Seems that the visual distortions are due to something far less serious that should resolve itself. Phew!

As we were in Melrose we had a stroll round one of the antique shops there, and somehow managed to purchase a quirky little item for the kitchen. No idea what it is or what it's for! It'll probably be tomorrow's blip...

Came across these beautiful rose hips on our evening dog walk. Seems that the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is upon us already
