St Clements Church, Ashampstead.

I spent this morning with Mum and Dad in the beautiful Berkshire countryside. We stopped at this little Church briefly, it dates from the 12th century, although the bell tower was added in the 16th century. The dog in the picture was very friendly and appeared to be an unofficial caretaker as he followed us around. Inside the church are some medieval wall paintings believed to date from around 1250.
See here for some photos of the paintings.
