Madam Butterfly

We paid another visit to the Parc Slip Nature Reserve this afternoon. What a wonderful way to spend a few hours. I was hoping to capture the elusive Dragonfly and although i did spot quite a few, they wouldn't keep still long enough to photograph. This small tortoiseshell butterfly was a lot easier to capture. On the 7th of September there is a Bat and Newt Evening between 8pm and 9.30pm. That might be interesting. I could get really interested in the many wonders that nature has to offer.
