Palace of Tears

This is the Tranenpalast- East Germans had to come here as the entry point to West Germany at Friedrichstrasse Station. It now tells the story of the people of Berlin from 1945 to 1989. It was known a the Palace of Tears during the period following the construction of the Wall in the 1960s.
