Jordan, here I come!

Sitting in the Albany airport. Feeling the butterflies now. Its starting to finally register with my brain that I'm moving to the Middle East. Started the morning off a bit crazy as everything that could go wrong did.

Woke up late, couldn't get my suitcases closed, realized I needed to buy batteries so went to Rite Aid where the lady accidentally charged my card $200 extra...so then had to get all the managers out there to fix it. Got stuck in traffic and construction on the drive back to New York from Vermont. Went to the bank as planned, but then got lost trying to get back to the airport. However, made it. All is good. Such is life. And so on...

Sitting here now waiting for my flight because thank heavens, Albany is the tiniest airport ever so I got through checking in and security it 15 mins (even though I was "flagged" b/c I'm going to the Middle East, so I was basically interrogated at checking in and frisked at security...I feel like this is gonna get old, quick).

Waiting for my travel to start and feeling all the butterflies, but happy butterflies. Excited to go abroad again and live in a totally new culture, meet my roommate, make new friends, learn Arabic, get an internship and see very different sites. My brain is thinking a thousand things and I can't even really think of how to explain it. So I guess I'll just stick with....Jordan, here I come!
