Mysterabbits awaiting release
Mysterabbit is an international art project by artist Ji Lee. Some 10,000 3D-printed rabbits are being sent around the world free to those who ask. You then release each one somewhere interesting, photograph it, then walk away and post the image(s) to the site with a note about the release. You don't keep them. The idea is that they become shared art and found art at once. A delightful little meditating rabbit to brighten the day. They are only one inch tall and very sweet.
I thought this was a nifty art project so I ordered up some rabbits and arranged to speak with Ji Lee (on Sunday coming) and with the project's Toronto rep, Amy Miranda as part of the In Conversation With... series in the next issue of Existere. This shot was taken on the canvas of our swing at home. I will start distributing them tomorrow and over the coming weeks. I will share posts here on blipfoto as well.
