Southport Belle

Saw the paddle steamer for the first time today. Southport is well known for its tide, it hardly ever comes up to the pier as it's an estuary. I did see it once right up to the prom, but it was in December. There was a woman ranting on about it on the beach, " What's the point if you need b......g binoculars to see the sea?" She was a Northerner so you would think she'd know.
