Capercaillie
and today the sun shone!!!
no yoga this morning, despite it being so good yesterday - somehow we just couldn't stir our stumps in time... maybe next year?
great selection of music again, and quite sensibly the festival organisers opened up somesections of the main tent so we could sit in the sunshine, eat icecream, drink beer and still see the main stage - great plan!
So, we saw Mark Erelli, the Be Good Tanyas and Capercaillie (my personal favourite, possibly of the whole festival). This is Karen Matheson, lead singer of Capercaillie, and the festival programme says about her ... "described by Sean Connery as having "a throat that is surely touched by God". Even for a non-believer, her voice is something amazing, and when you add it to the fantastic music of the rest of the band you get as close to perfection as I've heard in a long time.
And then we had to come home :(
