Film Posters

I had library books to return in Edinburgh so combined this with a quick visit to see Alice (No 2 daughter) and a trip to the RSA to see an exhibition by Peter Doig. I had never seen his work before and was really looking forward to seeing it. A lot of the paintings were enormous - some I really liked, others much less so. The last room was full of hand painted film posters. For the past 10 years or so the artist has been living in Trinidad and, along with a friend, he established a film club. The films were shown in his studio, hence the name Studio Film Club. For each film Peter Doig has produced a poster - probably a one off - and it was really interesting to see them all together like this.
