Hardbacks?!

Who the hell buys hardbacks these days?! Surely we all wait for the cheaper paperback/kindle version to come out? Everyone except my friends that is, who have lent me these to read. These are definitely more suitable for sun lounger, rather than commuter, reading. Pip and Lib, I love your faithfulness to the cause and I'm looking forward to this light bit of reading :-)
