Building dens

Today we spent the afternoon at the Look Out. There's a science museum but today we just met to play in the park. My friend is going back to America on Friday so this was an opportunity for the children to get together & play. As well as a park there's lots of walks & trees. The children all like to make dens in there. Reminds me of my childhood in Germany although the bigger children had hammers, nails & fires back then. This is the den that some of the older children made. I was very impressed! The foliage in the middle is the toilet & one of the boys told me proudly he'd wee'd in it!!! We took photos together in front of the den & then as we were leaving it for other children to play in or pull apart to build their own dens, I suddenly remembered my Blip! You should be able to just about see my Playmobil family, me in the red shoes, also my God-daughter is photographed today. All the children gathered around as I set up my shot - they were saying 'cool Lego people'. I told them firmly that they were Playmobil people... huh the kids of today!!!
