Popping to Papa's!

Went to see Papa and Nanny today! Kate has been with them for a few days and I thought I would treat them all and join them for the day!

The drive is a blooming nightmare, single roads most of the way but it was worth it when we were getting close and played "who can see the sea first"

Messed about on the beach building sandcastles, turning the children into sand mermaids and mermen and wave jumping! We enjoyed a nice lunch and were just walking back to our bits on the beach when Evie fell off a wall... :( it could have been a lot worse but she only ended up taking off half her toe and Papa soon bandaged her up but she was very quiet after that, she chose to snuggle up instead.

The blip is Elliot. Massive milestone today! He doesn't do water, ever. 3 weeks in Turkey and he didn't go in once, he doesn't even like baths!!! Today he went thigh deep into the sea, with a camping kettle, obviously! Hurrah!
