Today's achievement...

...has been to strip 300 layers of paint from two window sills. And as you can see, I've not exactly done a bang up job. God I'm crap at DIY.

I've also re-grouted the shower tray as it was leaking, done the drive with weed killer (please don't rain tonight!) and removed all the careless paint from the fanlight windows above my bedroom doors.

Tomorrow's excitement will be sanding the window sills, re-caulking the windows and cutting away the carpet edges so I can gloss the skirting. Who knows, if I can find a paintbrush (where the hell are they all, I had loads) I might even open a tin of emulsion.

I know how to live, oh yes!
