Oyster beds

View LARGE to see the incoming tide!

Dreadful start to the day, Gail popped to the shops to get some cheese for the packed lunches, and on her return a drainage lorry had just driven into our road - she asked if he would back up about 20 yards to let her through and he refused. She drove round the (1 1/2 mile) block to enter the road from the other direction to find his lorry now further up the road, again blocking her progress. His attitude remained unchanged, so she tried to again turn the car round, but in a very tight driveway - ending up stuck. When I commented on his lack of courtesy, he became rude, threatening and aggressive. The AA rescued her eventually, and she's OK.

My evil side thought about blipping her car, or the idiot who drove the lorry. My kinder side decided to blip the lovely oyster beds I took the guests to at the Solway coast. We almost got caught by the incoming tide, and yes - we did stop for ice creams on the way home.
