Vikingship

We left Hamar in the morning and drove down to Oslo passing the impressive roadworks on the way. While G met a colleague I visited the wonderful Vikingship Museum - the craftmanship in the carvings on the boats, sledges etc is quite something. Taking photographs without capturing the many tourists was quite a challenge! Also spent some time at the Norwegian Maritime Museum before meeting G and going to the Norwegian Culture Museum which was really nice with some very interesting buildings, in particular the Gol Stavechurch and the tenement building from Oslo. Then we drove up in the mountains to Rjuken.
