A Blue Crown

Continuing my experiment from yesterday, trying to capture the movements of liquid...today I tried dropping water into a still pool to capture the eruption that it caused. Although this initially didn't seem like it would be too difficult, it turned out to be far more difficult than my project yesterday. First getting the lighting right, the DOF correct, the color and then capturing just the right moment. Roughly 400 shots later, this is the image I selected that most closely represented the outcome I was looking for.
