The Napping House Dogsitting: Day 5

There was a lot of napping going on in my house today. Everyone got up way too early, including myself. Little by little we all caved in and too a little snooze. I walked into the family room to find my grandson napping with Mac at his feet all snuggled up on his blanket. They looked adorable. Mac gave me a look as if he wasn't quite sure he was allowed to be up on the couch with him but I told him he was a 'good boy' and he plopped his head back down and went to sleep.

My daughter has some training at work today and had to be there by 6 a.m. and so at 4:45 a.m. my granddaughter was standing next to my bed wide awake. I tried to convince her it was still dark out but she wasn't having any of it and told me she wanted cereal. We had our cereal together and then as the sky got brighter I put Mac on his leash and we walked out in the yard, both Nadia and myself barefoot, to take Mac for his morning walk. While were outside the sun came up and I showed Nadia who said "I need my sunglasses". Neither of us made it much past 8:30 before taking a little snooze.

Even my husband took a nap before dinner. It was a muggy, rainy day and we all caught up on our ZZZzzzz's
