Morning at The Snow Farm

Just to set the record straight they don’t actually FARM snow at this place. They normally just sit around and wait for it to fall on them and last night it did a bit. This is the first snow fall in the area in weeks so this morning Granny (acyclinggranny) and The Boss went Sno Shoing. I went to sleep in the sun and The Bossess went bonkers (opps sorry Roo) when broadband went down and she was forced to resort to her iPad on 3g to keep working. We have pretty good 3G coverage here in our little town so this plan “B” was a good one altho quite a bit slower than the usual, but Plan “B” is better than no plan at all.
Tiny Tussock reports that they had a grrreat day on the tops and they are planning to do it again tomoro as the white stuff is seriously affected by the big yellow thing in the sky that is doing such a grrreat job on my back while lying in the bedroom and they are worried that conditions may never be as good with no bad sheep (wethers) in sight.
Certainly don’t see any sheep in the scene here but then again there are white you kno.
One of the fun things about photography in sno is that The Boss’s glasses are photo chromatic and go really dark in bright light and cold temperatures to the point that he simply can’t see through the viewfinder. Live view works a bit better but he really has no idea what he has until back home on the nice monitor. Reviews at Hot Chocolate time are OK but well after the event.
Of course if he takes his specs off everything is lovely and bright but completely out of focus. Maybe there’s an App for this?

Awesome Eh?
