This is Carol.

I know Carol
because when we were at school together
I used to assist Carol with her maths homework.

She was hopeless.

As you will be aware,
Carol is best known for displaying
her mathematical abilities
on the TV show Countdown
and for her fabulous figure and dress sense.

You may be thinking all of this
just doesn’t add up
but, although she was hopeless at doing her sums,
with my help she became brilliant
and has done very well for herself.

And yes, I have read her autobiography.
It doesn’t mention me.
