The Hidden Gardens

Off on an adventure with friend Doffy today, the weather was warm & cloudy with little bit of sun every now and then, we went to Beaumaris about 5 mls away which was still busy with visitors milling around.

After coffee & scones in the Buckley Hotel we intended to go on the boat trip around Puffin Island but it was booked up and it would have meant a couple of hours waiting around so after a stroll around town we headed off up the road to Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens which we both had wanted to visit for some time but as they only open about 3 days a week we hadn't got around to it.

It was well worth the visit a really lovely place with a mixture of formal flower beds, topiary, woodland walks, & leafy dells down by the river.
