Hayling Island

A summer isn't a summer without a beach trip. I've since stopped taking my DSLR places as I heard something really interesting in a movie recently that made sense to me. 'When you're a photographer you never get to live life in the moment because you're always outside it capturing it instead.' I thought this was so true, so I've gone back to my little compact for day trips etc so I don't even have to look at the screen. Just point and shoot. The DSLR only comes out for professional work now which is at least 3 times a week so I don't ever get the urge to do my own thing with it any more. :(
