I speak for myself

I've been in Glasgow today, at an Interfaith networking seminar in Pollokshields. It's the first national interfaith event I've attended and well worth the journey. I met a lot of interesting people. This is part of a travelling exhibition which started off at Holyrood. It was organised by Amina - the Muslim Women's Resource Centre, aiming to break the stereotypes of Muslim women and to give them a voice. See a video about it here

In the afternoon, we visited a Sikh gurdwara. A tour of the building was followed by tea in the Langar, a dining g room which is open all day, every day, serving delicious vegetarian food to anybody who needs a meal.
