More a grass slipper than glass....

Went into Ipswich today to see The Hudd Music Hall Archive Project.. Not quite what I expected but lots of information on display and some old music hall clips and interview with Roy Hudd. As a child of the sixties I remember watching and being entertained by The Good Old Days on the TV - silly songs and acts, things that made you giggle or sing along to. As one chap at the exhibition remarked it was TV that put an end to this kind of variety show- the artists couldn't really keep up with the demand for new material. There is an online archive, and the exhibition leaves Ipswich at the weekend to go on tour in East Anglia.

Wandered down to have lunch by the marina and passed this street art on the way.... Wondered if Gulliver and his misses were visiting, fairly certain it wasn't Cinderella's lost slipper!
