Hendersons

I had my new teeth installed at the dentists today (not a whole set, don't worry, I don't eat that much sugar....well....) which was cool, no more gappy smile! However it will take me a few days to get used to it and I'm conscious that I'm speaking a wee bit funny just now!

Dazed very kindly says its not too noticeable though. I'm sure if I just repeat "The rain in spain falls mainly on the plain" a few more times it'll be fine! (Trouble is I keep breaking into song which then leads me into all the musicals I know. A LOT!)

Strangely I can now say "she sells sea shells on the sea shore" better than I could before...

I had a lovely evening with Mrs D and some old friends, Karen and Susan, from our Waterstone's days. We met up in Henderson's Bistro for some yummy veggie fare and big chats - mostly on the general demise of W now that they hardly have any excellent booksellers like us left ;o) and an in depth analysis of the latest Harry Potter film.
You can take the girls out of the bookshop....etc

It was brilliant to see them again after so long :O)
