Bustle in The Haven

The team from Cowal churches is getting The Haven cafe and family space ready for the Cowal Gathering 2013. A local ecumenical project, it involves funding and staffing from several denominations to provide a place for festival goers to relax and shelter from the busyness of the gathering. The main people driving it are Episcopalians and Baptists, and the main funding is from the Church of Scotland in 121 George Street: 'head office'!

And all the proceeds go to the local hospice. Hopefully it shows that Christians are willing to be helpful and bless their community and the visitors this weekend.
