A Moment of Uncharacteristic Bravery

I'm not overly fond of spiders of this size or larger, but I would never kill one. I like to let them go about their business, as long as their business doesn't involve being anywhere about my person. I saw this fella, possibly waiting for something to appear out of the gap in the floorboards, and decided he looked photogenic enough to risk getting closer that I would normally feel comfortable with. You may notice that it's not all that close really.
