Should Kate Downie have gone to Specsavers?
I was at the RGI Kelly Gallery off Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street today to see my friend, Lynne Mackenzie, who is curator there.
Last week the buzzball of creative energy that is Kate Downie was doing a 'drawing performance' in the gallery.
This is a tiny section of one of her drawings now on show there as part of her East Meets West drawing project.
Apparently when she was drawing this on a street in Beijing, a wee girl stood watching her throughout - sporting glasses just like this.
This is part of an east-meets-west exhibition at The Kelly in Glasgow and at the RSA in Edinburgh.
The RSA exhibition, Walk Through Resonant Landscape, opens on Saturday at the RSA building on The Mound.
