In my moments of darkness...

...I strive to recall that everything happens for a reason, to stay in the moment, and, though not a Christian, that "sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof", and "joy cometh in the morning". I seek to focus on the points of light in my life; that which is going well, the reasons I have to smile yet, and to be grateful. These help to dispel the darkness, and I am not submerged.
