A heavy sky with pockets of sun, a place to sit with a jacket on, pukekos fossick amongst the grasses, while strands of cabbage trees sway, capturing the light.
Mallards and ducklings cruise on by, the honk of black swans drift by, reflections and ripples through the lake - come sit with me.

Daughter A and I thank you for your lovely words, she's ready to give her study the last wee push and then it will all be over, a new beginning, quite exciting - I think. It's been such a busy week, I'm looking forward to a quieter weekend, catching up with house jobs and hopefully having some time to back blip and comment.
